i may sow in tears and unbearable heartache now but i know for sure i will reap in joy when the time comes.

9th Anniversary
Today is the 9th year i accepted Lord Jesus as my saviour.
As i look back, God never failed to bless me since the day i accepted Him. And i hold on very dear to His promises in Jeremiah 29:11 where the Lord said, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future"
He is the only Lord that dare to made this kind of promises to His childrens therefore He is worthy to be praise.
Life changed tremendously since that day ... not to say easy life but i would say a blessed life. There's price to pay to follow Christ as we need to be obedient to His words. But it's worth it my friend as we invest in eternity. Life here is temporary and don't waste our precious time wandering about aimlessly.
I'm glad to have known Him & accepted Him and there's no turning back. The race is ON and am determine to finish this race with my Lord leading me all the way. How my soul will rejoice in heaven when the day comes for me to be called home with our good Lord. It will be a double bonus to hear Him says, "Good and faithful servant" to me :)

What a FOOL
I believe everyone received forwarded mails everyday and many times all are junks and bunch of nonsense.
This one i received this morning and it's darn good ... too good till i have to share it out. Enjoy ... and thanks to Joon Sim for forwarding this to me :)
FLORIDA COURT SETS ATHEIST HOLIDAY
In Florida, an Atheist created a case against the upcoming Easter and Passover holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians, Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days.
The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring, "Case dismissed!" The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, "Your honor, how can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays." The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant."
The lawyer said, "Your Honor, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists." The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fool's Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned."
You gotta love a Judge that knows his scripture!
* No offense to atheist out there ... as i believe every word stated in the Bible given to me by my good Lord.

devil? Yea ... you're under my feet!

Another excellent book by Aunty Joyce and i simply adore her for her writings. Simple and direct to the point. Highly recommended for all of you out there if you wanna put the stupid devil under your feet like me.
This book talks about how all kinds of things that tempt us, hurt us, confuse us and that's the hobbies of the stupid devil to have the upper hand on us. Aunty Joyce shared 8 wonderful ways how we can put the stupid devil UNDER our feet as a footstool.
Let me share briefly what i've learnt about the 8 wonderful ways:
1) Remain peaceful during storm - I personally think this is one of the greatest challenges that we often failed to do. As human, we tend to "fight" rather than being still during stormy season. Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still and know that I am God". It is tough to remain calm and let God handle but we have to learn to hold our peace and remain at rest. Devil is always at the losing end when he cannot get you upset.
2) Spend time with God - We are protected when we are in His presence. He will hide us in His secret place where no one can hurt us. In this secret place, we will experience His joy, peace, care, love and protection. God has to come as the 1st priority in our lives if we want to shut the devil up. Spending time with God will eventually changes us from what we are to what only He can make us to be.
3) Watch our big mouth - Words can bring life or death and we are always right about what we say coz we reap what we sow. Aunty Joyce mentioned we are in our situation today very likely because of our big mouth. We have to watch out every single words that come out from our mouth lest it kills us. Instead of complaning and murmuring, we SHOULD give thanks in everything, every situation coz God is still in control and good whether you like it or not. We are to speak life and not death. People around us do not need us to tear them down and don't be bothered to open your mouth if you have nothing better to say. Do not open the door for the devil to have a stronghold in our lives just because we do not know how to control our big mouth.
4) Submit yourself to God - In short, be obedient. This is a tough pie to eat for me. It's easy to say isn't it. I'm guilty when comes to obedient as my flesh failed me badly. There's a price to pay to be obedient and that's suffering. We have to learn to die to self and deny ourselves. Devil always love to see us go against God's word and poison our minds with all the negative thots. We should not give in but submit ourselves to God. We gotta stand firm and live beyond our feelings.
5) Walk in love - One of the greatest commandments to mankind - love your neighbours and you love yourself. Devil will go mad if we love people around us as it is his motives to make us fight among ourselves. Walking in love also teaches us to forgive people that once hurt us before (hereby i forgive you even though the pain, agony and hurt that you caused to my life nearly made me lose hope in this world. You are forever cut off from my life and devil no longer can use you to have any stronghold in my life as Jesus has won the battle for me when He died on the cross).
6) Know who you are and what you do - We, the childrens of God are His righteousness and even though at times we may do something wrong, but that will NOT change the fact, we are His childrens. It is not what we do that will guarantee the salvation, but it is who we are. We don't earn our salvation but thru Jesus, it is given freely to you and me.
7) Think what you're thinking - Our mind is the battlefield as devil attacks us by putting poisonous opinions, silly thots, stupid suggestions to make us depress. When we are down, think why and learn to speak back to the devil. Many times, everything is in our mind and devil knows. Thank God that Jesus died on the cross for us that we have authority over devil to shut his mouth up.
8) Pray at all times - Yes, we have to pray at all times and in everything, every situation be it good or bad. Praying is like talking to God and we have to offer our thanksgiving at all times. Devil hates that. So, to make him under our feet, PRAY. Everytime we pray, we moved mountains. Prayer is like a petition to God and He loves to hear us talking to Him. Let us pray until something happens (PUSH)
In summary. this is a great book. Go get one and shame the stupid devil.

Addiction
Addiction can comes in many forms, ways such as work, people, object, food and even facebook :)
I'm found guilty for being addicted to facebook. I 'facebooking' practically day and night until last week, i find it rather disturbing.
Then, i decided to "punish' myself by totally cutting it OFF. Yeah ... NO facebooking until am discipline enough to handle it.
So, what's the key learning here? I personally think, we need to balance up everything we do. Over do it or don't do anything at all it's not the way to live our lives.
I hope none of you all are addicted to "something". If yes, it's time to cut it off friends. We can only be addicted to one thing - GOD.

LOVE
Read something this morning during my devotional time and today daily bread hit me straight to the face and i thot it will be good to share with you all. Not meant to 'hit" anyone but could it be another wake up call?
The author asked, "What do i love more than Jesus?" Simple question right? But what will be your answer? Can you proudly answer that it's Jesus alone and nothing else? Many a times or should i say i was a hypocrite? I used to say i love Jesus more than anything but my actions showed the opposite.
When Jesus died on the cross for all of us, He meant what He said. It's all because of LOVE. He did everything He could to show us He loves us. But how about us? Only spoken words? Or worst, saying things that never meant to be?
Come to think, we - the human beings supposedly one of the best or the best creation of God but do we act like one? It's funny that we can promised the sky, moon, stars and God knows what else when we love someone but when we walked out from that relationship, what happen to all the promises?
You know what? I thank God that Jesus is not like that. Can you imagine Jesus gave up the cross on that very last moment? Who can take over His place by saying I will die for you and really do it without asking anything in return? There's no greater love than God's love for us. No human on this earth can ever give that kind of love ...
I've come to repentence and know that nothing should come above our God. He IS a gentleman God that will give you time to 'remove' the distractions BUT if you failed to do it, He will step in to HELP you. I thank Him for stepping into my life to remove the nonsense that blinded me all these while.
So, if Jesus is not 1st in your life and you desire to change it and repent, why don't you pray about it like what i did? You'll be amazed seeing how He step in and help.

Results ...

I remember coming out from the exam hall walking so small with head down. I cannot face myself and felt so useless. In fact, i was even more tensed after the exam. The nite before taking the results, i actually bargained with God. I literally begged for grace and mercy. I seriously do not know how to react if the results turn out to be something else. It's a sin for not trusting the Lord and i repent from it.
All glory to Him my friends. My results were too good to be true. It may not be too good for some of you coz your English so excellent but it is for me. The results brought me to tears and humbled me that it wasn't my effort but God's will. It is one of the confirmations that i received from God and am a step closer to what am doing now.
